The "MED" approach is simply the Minimum Effective Dose Lifestyle, which is nothing more than getting people the maximum amount of results with the the minimum amount of headache.
The amount of unnecessary and thoughtless training that exists within the fitness industry is appalling. The same workouts, the same recycled dietary and supplement recommendations, and the same poor results. What makes the MED experience different from the rest?
It's simple, yet all-too-often overlooked: mindfulness is the key to any sustaining lifestyle change. Mindless movement doesn't lead to progression, although most trainers will only focus on accomplishing the movement.
For this reason, teaching and focusing on proper exercise and lifestyle habits is a big area of attention for us, not only because it will allow you to workout safer and smarter, but because you will be able to apply these understandings into all others aspects of your life.
It will feel great to do a proper or even a heavy squat, but it will feel better when you can perform and be in control of your body as it is meant to be.
There is a connection that needs to be made and if this piece is overlooked, you will simply be mindlessly moving without actually arriving that much closer to the goal that you desire.
It's only through mindfulness that we are able to foster real intention and actually get in touch with our bodies. After all, it was a lack of mindfulness that most-likely created the need for a change in the first place.
Here at MED Fitness, our goal is to promote self-empowerment through knowledge, rather than reliance. We will teach you how to embody this lifestyle so that real intention is created, rather than the all-too-common forced intention.
After-all, forced intention is the main cause behind so much regression in the weight-room and in all other areas of life. Simply put, if you can't fully embody it, rather than just momentarily follow it, regression is guaranteed.
The main goal behind our training and health coaching is to help you advance into your own self-reliant exercise routine and other healthy habits.
Then, and only then, will we have fully done our job as your trainer and health coach. Let's create a long-lasting, meaningful change that you can finally live out and enjoy.
